-Ruth, you are so correct! Actually, he is using his tablet to read the newspaper. He has about a dozen on his tablet that he checks daily. Omgosh. Otherwise, it would be the ohone. He is not on fb though.

I received mini aprons from Shannon and Debi C. You will all be getting your first crocheted mini aprons in this batch. I'd love to see your pattern, Debi!

Another round of rain storms coming in through the mountains starting later tonight...will be home bound for 2 days most likely due to the flash floods we get up here... so I will be dreaming about this next batch of cute minis....

Linda - glad my aprons made it. I have another package I sent around the same time to someone else that has still not made it there!!! The postal service seems to be... errrr.... "complicated" here. ;)

I currently live in Central Calif., by Yosemite, Living in the mountains is quit different then living out on the Plains ... up here we only have 1 way down the mountains so when bad weather or a major accident happens it creates a problem for getting down the mountain to the City... plus during Summer we get a huge tourist populace driving through...unaware of mountain roads and deer who like to dash across the roads....
All in all it's been an adventure and I am glad to be experiencing it... but I do look forward to moving back to Eastern Washington.... where the snow can build 4ft high and summers on the rivers are fabulous...and being with my grand-kiddos!

Would like to by the end of Summer,,, but not real sure about the housing market up here....so if not by years end then next year for sure...
Our home goes on the market by May 1st... up here the window of opportunity to sell a home is between May and Oct... after that the market goes dead because of the weather. So we will see...
