Finally...a new apron. It is the Betty Sue. Pure vintage fun! (It was done with vintage 50's fabric and vintage bias tape. It is a super simple apron to make...great for a beginner! It'll fit the small to the abundantly blessed farmgirl. Hope you like it. I am going to shorten it though

Aunt George,
Boy you are going a mile a minute here lately, maybe faster!! That is a really cute apron, great coverage for long skirts. Are you going to be making aprons for this shop you are doing things for? Hey I want to see those skirts you made. Will you be posting pictures? And boy was that a lot of material you got, what fun to look through all that.

Thanks Farmgirls! I'm just trying to keep up with myself sometimes....LOL....I have to drive up to Dulles International today in DC to pick up my mother. She was in London for 10 days with my brother. So not much sewing today. Boo Hoo......Glad you all like my aprons and my blog. Beemoosie.....I have been having a time deciding what to send in exchange for the vest book, but I think I know now. I haven't forgotten...just contemplating!

Talk to ya'll later today!

I have finished one for myself finally.
I used the pattern that came in the budget mix tote.

This is the second one I've made.
Now I can bake and not worry so much on being sloppy.
It's nice and bright and cherry with the tomatoes on the fabric.

This my first and was given as a gift to a special friend.

Love your aprons (pic's)..
A cute book to read on the history of aprons is "The Apron Book" by EllnAnneGeisel. It even includes a full size bib apron pattern.
A gal can never have enough aprons....
