Las week my husband I left this

This is a calf pen next to my garden. It is pretty level full of snow, at least 6 ft. High. We traveled to enjoy this:

The Gulf of Mexico on Mustang Island in Port Aransas Texas.
But before we got here I got to spend a lovely weekend with this beautiful farmgirl and her wonderful family.

We still have about 10 days left before we are home with lots of fun things to see before we get there, and I get to see Sherry one more time before we leave this beautiful state.

Oh my goodness! How wonderful that you got to get away from the artic weather to a beautiful place! And even better that you got to spend time beforehand with a dear farmgirl sister! Julie...how Wonderful for you that you got away to the Beach and left all that snow behind. I love It!!!
And that you got to spend some fun time with Sherri. That must have been a real JOY for the two of you.
Keep having fun and maybe that snow will melt at least half way before you return home.

I'm so happy that you were able to get out of all that SNOW!
When are you coming back through east Texas? Maybe I could just meet up with you and Sherry to say Howdy! We will be back from Arizona on the 4th or 5th. LOL!

Linda we are meeting Sherry and Mark Friday in Canton for part of the day and than heading north. We hope to be home before kick-off on Sunday for the super bowl game. Peggy I would love to say the snow is melting, but they are supposed to get another 15 inches while we are gone and the cold is supposed to hit again when we get back. Not complaining though, this trip helped break up the winter. Hopefully this won't be our last trip to Texas Linda so we will catch you next time.
