Just finished a lamp shade cover that I crocheted over the last few days, I thought it came out pretty cute. Also got a new needlework at the thrift store today for 1.98. Now if I just learn to do that felting thing.

The lampshade is nice and the ribbon and pin set it off perfectly. I like ribbons tho I don't have ribbons on anything, maybe I should. MB

Hi Marybeth,and girls.
Thank you, and glad you liked the little something I sent you. Started working on that sampler I got at the thrift store yesterday, that should be done before they move me to the HOME, I hope. Going to go through some of my old magazines and cut out anything that looks like scrap booking material. Then off to my spot with my fluffy blankets and big pillows to read for a while. The girls on here keep talking about good books and I have to close my eyes and not read those posts because I just have to read all these books that I already have, and magazines. Three of the four grand daughters were here today, they left for home a bit ago, I made dinner and here I'am, now here I go.

Nancy I am posting the goodies from you on my daily blog. LOOK! Have you ever done ribbon embroidery? I have a cute piece to do and it just seems lumpy. Or maybe it is just me. MB
