Thanks so much Ann - I have new pictures on my blog of them. Thor is an amazing billy. He is a grand champion National Western Winner but he is a winner in my heart more then anything. Not all billies have this, in fact, most do not but the universe gave me the chance to have the best foundation male in the world. His offspring have also given many a farmgirl a sweetheart in the barn. The two in the kitchen had been hopping around so much today that they took a four hour nap - great news for this tired Goat Mom!

I am intrigued with the story of Thor -- any chance we could get a photo of him posted? Pretty please?

Sandy, as soon as we can let the goats out of the barn I will try and get a picture of Thor. I problem is when I go out there they all run up for hugs and kisses and Thor gets right in my face so it is hard to get a picture. Once he goes outside he finds the highest spot and stands proudly. That would be the shot. I have a picture that was taken last year on Valentines Day - what a stud. I am not great at computer things so I do not know how to work the scanner. My oldest is off ice climbing but will not be back till the weekend - he know how to work it. I will see if I can dig a path to get the goats out - after the storm on Sunday we have a six foot drift to get thru first.
Thanks again and remember Friday is the dead line for names! Keep them coming you gals have great instinct.

Don't forget Friday January 26th is the last day to enter the naming contest for the two kids in the kitchen. Today was a great day for them. We let them run around the downstairs for a while - under the watchfull eye of my Best Pry - Kasha! Then they each ate 7 oz of goats milk and was off to nap land for almost 4 hours. I could not believe how much work I got done. It reminds me of how my two legged boys would go down for a nap and I would look like the white tornado getting 8 hours of work done in two. Don't forget you can enter more than once. Good Luck and I thank you so much for helping me.

WE HAVE A WINNER AND NAMES FOR THE KIDS!!!
The white guy will be known as "Sherlock Homes" and the red guy as "Dr Watson" The fit so well. sherlock is always figuring out things like, open the cupboards and crawling in, pushing the gate open and getting into the livingroom and he always has to be center stage. Dr Watson is one step behing him, not worried if he is in the limelight but you know he is always thinking. He is the silent partner but vital to every outing. The winner is HollyL82 and her prize on is her way.
For all those who entered WE THANK YOU! We determined that if there are other kids born this season we will use the runner up's names. You where all so creative and so kind. I will keep the blog site up on pictures if they will just slow down. They are so full of vinegar that it is hard to get my carmera to take a clear picture.
THANKS

Yea HollyL. Congrats!! Good choices, There always is a leader to find the mischief and the follower to join in the fun. Our first lambs (years ago) we named Cleo, because of the black eyeliner she had, (you know cleopatra eyes) and Curley because his coat was sooooo curly. MB

Marybeth We had a Cleo too! She was sold three years ago and is having a great time in New Mexico. We named her that for the same reason and also because she had a way of caulking her head and walking away from you that reminded me of Lix Taylor in the movie when she would walk away dismissing Richard Burton. It is funny now that they have names we are working really hard to get them to know it and respond to it. Watson is getting it but Sherlock is so full of himself that you can not get his name out fast enough because he is on you like a flash. Thanks again for everyone who played "Let's name that Goat"

Sherlock and Watson are great names. I can just see the little mischief makers in your kitchen. Do they crawl up on everything or are they still too little? I loved your pictures. The white one had a funny grin on his face like he was just full of it.
Blessed are those who love the soil,
Patsy
