I would love to know more before I commited myself to this. But I think it sounds like it would be alot of fun.

lilpunkin- someone poses a question and whoever answers, those two people exchange a tea cup and saucer. then the person who answered the question gets to post a new question and on and on ad infinitum....it's loads of fun!!

I loved all the lovely cups and saucers I received the first time around - and I like to slip a few extra goodies in the box - never has to be anything expensive, I have found wonderful treasures at thrift shops and so on. It is like having a special holiday present for no reason at all other than a kindred spirit is thinking of you!

Are you all okay if we do it like before with a quote or passage from a favorite book or a few lines from a beloved poem? If you have any new ideas let me know before we decide!

Blessed Be!

Okay Friends of My Heart - I will be on the lookout for a special quote taken from a most likely vintage book, but then again, you never know.
I love this exchange!

Okay Gals - here goes - I am including two seperate passages - Good luck!

"In the mornings of hoarfrost, when the valley is a silver mist and the peach twigs rimmed with frost, there is the soft grey-blue of the jays, the magnificent stained-glass blue of the jay's wings and tail, balancing on the bending twigs. Or after a wet snow, each branch both black and white as a Japanese print, the sudden luminous red of the cardinals, the rich and chestnut brown of the wrens."

"The year moves on toward spring. The wicker cage of the forsythia grows more yellow every day. They used to call these changeable days "the dangerous weather." Every day is dangerous now, climatewise and otherwise. For three months there have been these shiftings, these extremes."

"Woke one morning to an extraordinary snow. Deep soft blanket world. Great white elephants looming everywhere. The honeysuckle and the fence a hairy mammoth. The wind released the pine branches slowly - a long exploding tip of pine moves in a circle, like the sensitive tip of an elephant's trunk."

I almost was thinking it was the writings of John Muir..as it did seem a bit similar in style.
