Grace I just love the picture of Lucy. She is my daughter's favorite. She gets up early for work just so she can watch Lucy before she leaves. She and I were able to go to the Lucy Desi Museum in Jamestown, NY. It was great! There are huge murals of special scenes from the shows on buildings around the city. We loved it!

Got your private email. Thanks!

I got it Grace..HUGS..Today has been a CRAZY day..Both toilets went kaput so we've been without potty's..Thank goodness for travel trailers..Then daughter's bedroom got flooded and hubby wasn't too happy..So been taking care of that business. Then daughter calls me and tells me she needs basketball stuff, so I take it to her and she's already in some clothes..But by the time we got home hubby had toilets working again. And had to go back into town to wash the white basketball unfiorm as our spring water is murkey this time of year and murkey water and white uniform don't mix...But going to town tomorrow for some apron strings..I think it's called bias tape..I have to rewatch the video..lol..I told you my sewing skills are nill, except for hand sewing, I'm fair..

Hello, everyone -
We will be making 16 aprons. Put all 16 aprons into an envelope addressed to Linda Olivera and weigh it with another self addressed stamped envelope (SASE). DO NOT SEAL YET. Put same amount of postage stamps on the SASE and put inside the envelope; add $1.00 in the main envelope and seal now. I can't wait to get all the aprons so I can sort them and mail back to you. I will send you all an email with my name and address in case you don't already have it.

Happy apron sewing all!

If you have any questions, please email me.

Debbie, I totally understand your crazy day. I have had two backwards, upside down days too. After the teacher got so angry at me for stating my opinion on on a political topic she brought up for the third time, well let's just say things have been a bit tense. I came home yesterday, made and ate a sandwich, then drove back to town to get the oil changed in my car. Why on earth did I think it would be quick...that dealership does not know the meaning of quick...and I had an appointment. Back home, feed chickens, try to find my son, because a dog is chasing his horses. When I finally find him he is on the tractor, so no wonder he could not hear the commotion. It was his new cow dog...perhaps she can't tell the difference in cows and horses. Then it occurred to me that I had not purchased the fabric for a pillowcase that had to be made last night for a birthday today...So off to Wal-Mart, because by now the quilt shop was closed. Wouldn't you know it...the fabric cutter had just gone to lunch. So the man in sporting goods came to help the three of us who needed fabric cut. It was slow, painfully slow, because the first young lady needed a piece of fabric 46" x 46". I tried to explain to her that the fabric she had chosen was about 44" wide, she would need a yard and a fourth and a border for her bulletin board. Then she asked him to cut another piece that was 16" x 22", same fabric...clearly this young lady has never sewed or used fabric before. She was very patient, however because she had four Rock House gals with her and they were adults being three years old. Rock House is where our retarded adults live. So while he was trying to get the device to print a ticket for her first piece...once more I tried to help her understand she would need a half yard. The next lady wanted 4 and one fourth yards of fabric. That went a bit faster but as he was about to cut mine, she returned to say he had only charged her for Four and one eighth yards. New ticket made. I still had to fix supper and make the pillowcase. Crazy, crazy day.

Wow. Crazy days for you both.

Ed and I are up early and leaving for Las Cruces, NM. Then we figured out that one place we want to stop on the way is only 40 miles away and we will be there about 7 AM and they won't be open. DUH!! We are going to get breakfast first so that might slow us down a little.
