Here is a UFO from 2 years ago - still need to quilt and bind. It is flat aprons, very similar to what these will look like if put in a quilt or wall hanging. I have a pattern from a magazine.

That is a cute idea. I just mailed 14 more to my great niece to decorate her booth at the antique mall. I still need to look for cowboy or western fabrics. I have started on the red, white and blue ones...reminded me of our very first 10" square swap...almost two years ago. Wow, time flies when we are having fun.

I emailed Brian today. They received the package of our aprons, and he said it was given to Mary Jane, but she may not have looked at it yet because they are working on a deadline on her new book.

Linda that quilt is completely adorable!!! If I ever get the notion to see a quilt I would do one with the aprons! I love it! I love all the aprons that came to me also! Thank you ladies! A truly fun swap! I may join the patriotic one...not sure yet with the garden and property care. ;)

I have only heard from 7 of the 15 people in this swap that the aprons arrived safely: me (of course, LOL!), Marilyn, Grace, Shannon, Dianna, Diana, and Becky. Please let me know if the rest of you received your aprons.

Thanks again for participating in this swap.

I would love a copy of the precious "apron Quilt" pattern, that looks very doable in the near future. Such a cute idea. Thanks so much

Hay there. I got my aprons!!! I love them.... all. All so different and unique. I am going to hang a clothes line in my Creation Station and admire them every time I walk in the room. This was so much fun. I would like to join in again but with ranch work and spring time chores and breeding season I will have to pass. Please add your photos to the next swaps so we can all see them. AND have fun!!

Hugs and prayers, Daizy #1093

Got my package of aprons the other day. Sorry to do late posting. I have been sick and our granddaughter is in the hospital again with liver and intestinal problems.

Love all the aprons. Each one is special. Hope to have a tea party this summer and I want to use them to decorate. Don't know if I have the time to do the next one.

Thank you for the compliments everyone. I used up some of my stash of scrap material and trims. I have a huge stash and hardly made a dent in it. The first thing I learned to make in Home Ec class was an apron without a pattern. Got an A on mine. Sad to say before I could take it home someone stole it out of my locker. It was never found. Still don't know who took it. It was red and white gingham with my name cross stitched on the front in black. I had other things I made taken also. Kids can be so mean in school. Oh well, I still got good grades and I love to make things for others. It gives me great joy to share.

Love the Apron Quilt Linda.

Brenda, I'm sorry you and your granddaughter are and have been sick. How old is your granddaughter? I am adding her to my prayer list.
Using our stash is fun. Making something cute is also fun. You are so talented and creative. God bless you.

We still haven't heard from MaryJane, but Brian said she DID receive the mini apron package I sent. She must be very busy working on her new book. Hopefully we will hear from her soon.

Brenda, it is good to hear that everyone is better now. One of my former students has a bad liver. She is hoping for a transplant, so she can feel good.

I heard from Joyce that she had not yet received her aprons and I sent her the tracking number. Then I checked the tracking number and it seems her aprons took a Mediterranean side trip to get to her. They went from Lone Oak (my town), to Dallas, t Grapevine (TX), to Chicago, to Slovenia (a country north of Croatia), and then to Canada. It says it is in transit to her now. I hope she receives them SOON! They have gone more than postal, they went global. LOL!
