Looking forward, I believe I can speak for most of us that we're hoping for a bright, beautiful new year which infuses our hearts and souls with love, joy, laughter and a whole lotta healthy happiness!
A few of us have been waiting for this swap, including myself, so here it is if you're interested: Create an altered file folder out of any medium you would like, this includes enclosing the sides of the file folder to create a pocket effect. This should be something that represents hopes and dreams for a bright and beautiful new year! Please include 3-4 inserts that would go along with this theme in which a farmgirl may appreciate. This can be anything from planning, hoping, dreaming, journaling, organizing, etc.
Sign ups end January 16th with mail out by January 23rd.

I just found this thread and was looking back at previous swaps of these. Are these just regular manila folders? It looks like some have been made into pockets too, is that right? I have not seen them before these swaps. May have to join in the next one if there is one.

Hi Denise, Yes, these are Manila file folders, altered into pockets. The sides have been stitched, some partially, some entirely to create the pocket effect. Then decorated with any medium you like. They can be use for filing, scrapbooking, coupons, recipes, storing keepsakes, I suppose the uses could be endless for anything when it comes to organization. I have a few on my desk for filing, and have used one for recipes in my kitchen, and a few others in with my scrapbooking, they make lovely pockets when inserted into a three ring binder.
