| Just got home from Christmas Eve service. My favorite service of the whole church year. I am in a magical place when we all light candles and the room is dark except for the candles and we sing Silent Night. That is when I know there is a divine being greater than myself. Merry Christmas everyone!!!!! |

We never go to church services except for last night. We went to the local Baptist church and sat listening to the speakers and the readings, stood up and sang the songs, commented on the Stratocaster guitar one of the musicians was playing and stood in the dark holding a candle in the darkened sanctuary. I agree that was a magical experience.

Thank goodness the weather was warm today. Our electricity went wonky, so I called Florida Power & Light. We had 3 trucks just to run a temporary line from our neighbors to our house. While we were powerless I lit an oil lamp and worked on swaps. Now we are reminiscing about Christmases past.
