Nancy I like the way you describ your kitchen in the fall sun. This is my favorite time of year with it's gentler sunlight and the beginning of the season of long shadows.
BTW I like your yellow bowl planters.

Mz Nancy, your home is lovely. I like that you have used your cake plates as risers for those huge cactus plants. Very nice. I have a few cactus started and I am anxious to see them bloom. I hear it takes several years tho. What colors are yours and when do they bloom? I have a southern facing window that most of my plants enjoy. My African Violets really are doing well there and I am hoping the new cactus will too. Most of those were gifts so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I love all the wood in your home.

Nancy, I am also getting more golden light in the house as we have moved more into Fall down here in Florida. It is a welcomed and beautiful change!

Hay there.
I suppose I need to wash my windows on the south side of my home. They really show the dirt, dust and smudges with the way the sun shines in. It has to be done sometime, I guess!!??!
