Bruce just came home with a big bouquet of leaves....Our poor maples here in town are infected with some kind of 'schmutz' that manifests on the maple leaves obscuring any kind of good fall color. This manifestation has been recurrent for two years now. I have been aching to have some true fall color in the house. He found some untouched leaves further north..... what a nice guy-

SO beautiful, Melody! Especially sitting there, filtering the light! Ethereal! What a lovely bouquet to receive! Yay Bruce! Happy Autumn!
There isn't anything they can do to treat the maples where you live? That is absolutely heartbreaking!!!

Melody...those are beautiful...especially with the light coming through the window.
I love fall leaves too but the Maple Leaves are especially pretty!
