Hi farmgirls,
For September, I wrote a blog on collecting vintage sewing machines, and I am doing a fun little sewing-inspired giveaway there. There's still time to enter the drawing. Any farmgirls here bitten by the vintage sewing machine bug?

I loved the article. I know there are a lot of us who collect vintage and other sewing machines. Does a vintage hand crank pinker count as a machine? Lol!!

Greetings Nicole: A great post! I love sewing and have a sewing machine collection, mostly vintage! There is a red eye in my collection too! I have done research on decal identification so I can correctly document my machines. I have several black featherweights and am very pleased to have had an opportunity to have one custom painted dark green, my favorite color! I love when I can get history with a vintage machine, I have some interesting stories! My goal is to make a quilt top on each of my vintage machines. There are still a few machines that need some work. As a new Farmgirl reading through the forums to get up to speed, I am enjoying the conversations about vintage sewing machines!
