I will be off my 'puter for a week ( sept 8-13) unless I happen to be able to access wifi along the way...
Going to Palm Desert to pick up my mother and then we will head over to Prescott, AZ to her brother and my cousins... This is part of the German side of my family,,, the rest are still in Germany...that trip will be next year if all goes according to plan...
So in the mean time,,, I will try to peek in and join in,,, but if not,,, save me some good gossip...lol!

OK,,, I am back,,, I drove a combined 1000miles and yes, I have 'Numb buns'...lol!
Took mom to visit her brother in Prescott, AZ...
Did a wee bit of 'touristing'... but dang, I am glad to be home!
down town in the tourist district of Prescott,,, luv the Junktique shops...
my mom at 82years young...
found this cute purse that was once a Tony Lama Boot shaft... at the Thrift in Prescott! Score!

Grace...the purse is adorable and so Farmgirl Chic!!!
Your mom is 1 year younger than my mom (who still lives in Spokane).
Your mom looks very good for her age. My mom is just beginning to
look older...for all her 82 years last year...I still thought she looked
about 10 years younger that she was. But this year she is starting to
catch up to her 83 years. But she lives on her own, still drives and
still can put you in your place in a heart-beat. LOL
Glad you are home and had a good trip. My husband and I did a 1,000 mile trip
this summer in 3 days and it liked to have killed us both. So, I know what you
mean...about it feeling good to be home.
