I try to stay in bed longer in the morning but I just lay there thinking about how good my coffee will taste and I love mornings. So I posted a picture on my blog after my morning routine which is close to the same every morning.

Nancy, I love the early mornings myself although I think you are way ahead of me with the time!! LOL!! I was fascinated with the story of your blue pitcher too. I love having those few items that bring in a flood of memories of family.

I have loved to sleep in all my life (we always said I was born for swing shift), but now I wake up anywhere between 5:30 and 6, no matter what's going on. Not sure if this is a part of being more chronologically enhanced, or living with a morning person. We are up and at our routine early and off to work together. We even keep this schedule on vacation. We will go to the islands in January -- up with the sun and to bed when it sets. It works well for us. At home, some of our best times together are in the early morning -- sitting on the porch having our breakfast and watching the foxes come home from their nightly prowl.

Love, love, love being a morning person. Everything is calm and peaceful that time of day. There something relaxing about having a routine each day.

I definitely have a routine and follow it very closely every day! It may not always fall at the same time, but always the same order! My son and I are always up early and going for the day! He is a morning person for sure so it helps me out! Your blue pitcher is pretty. A fun thing to keep in the family.

Love your pitcher and clock. I have a clock that is like yours. It was my grandparents. So special. I am bad about settling it even though I love to hear it chime.
Love my morning coffee and time with the Lord.
