I thought the Traveling Craft Box #6 was a real success!

So, here is the sign-up for Traveling Craft Box #7!

This swap is limited to 10 swappers including Farmgirls who have been in the swap before.

First box mail out will be September 2.

1. Darlenelovesart, 2. forgetmenot, 3. Churunga, 4. Audra Rose, 5. Farmgirlquilting, 6. janamarieje, 7. beccalou.

Please e-mail me your name, address, FarmGirl name and current e-mail address. (I already have those names/addresses if you signed up for Craft Box #6.)

I have Traveling Craft Box #7 stuffed and ready to tape closed for mailing! Let's make this happen!

I am in.

The box is a medium or large sized flat rate box filled with various craft items one person doesn't need or want but that someone else may need or want. We sign up and Judith produces a list of members of the swap. She includes a printed list in the box. When I get the box, I sort the contents by YES - I want it, NO - I do not want it and MAYBE - it may be useful. I make my final selections and repack the box including as many of items from my personal stash I no longer want and send it on to the next person. One never knows what the box will contain and it is so much fun.

I have you signed up, Marie! Thanks for the explanation to Jana! Cost to mail the box is usually around $18.00. So, Farmgirls, make sure you are able to commit to that amount before signing up.

Also, I have the large USPS box stuffed to the max with useful items for you! (Since it costs that much to mail we want to make sure we have it packed as full as possible for the next recipient.)

I hope you can join us, Jana!

Great, Jana! Sign-ups for veteran craft box swappers will close Aug. 30. I will add new swappers on Aug. 31 in order of request to join. (I forgot to mention this part in the first post for the swap.) So, you, Jana, would be the first new swapper added!

I wanted to wait a month because of our trip to South Korea, and in order to accumulate stuff, but I am ready to sign on for this round.

I'm not joining in this time because I am going to be doing babysitting duty when my new grandbaby shows up as some of you know already. I was wondering what kind of items you all like to find in the box when it comes. I am thinking about filling a box for round eight if I have the things that interest anyone and if it's okay with Judith. I won't commit to it until I know I can fill a box.

I like small balls of yarn, lace trim, stickers, paper, card stock and small pieces of cotton fabric. I like to look at kits also and I will be putting several of my old kits in the box as space permits. I am currently looking through some boxes in the basement.

I posted some things I liked but it didn't go through.
I like Yarn, stickers, jewel embellishments, kits of all kinds, larger punches, glitter, embossing powder, fabric and wood shapes.
Anyway if that helps at all.

Glad to have you, Angie! I'll add you to our list!

I'm so happy to see you Farmgirls mentioning things you are interested in! That really helps us all!

Denise, I have no problem at all handing over the reins...the more Farmgirls involved...the merrier!

Things I love..paper dolls, odd bits of jewelery, beads, needlework tools (hooks, small looms, small pieces of fabric, embroidery patterns, vintage pics from used cards).

It makes it more interesting to know what we can put in the box besides the normal everything.

OK, Farmgirls, I admit I messed up!!

I added Angie's name before waiting for our veterans to sign up by Aug. 30. So, I am not going to remove Angie's name. I will add Jana's name. So, now, we have 4 slots left for veteran Craft Box Swappers.
And...I promise to get more rest and think about what I am doing before adding more names.
Welcome, Angie and Jana!
