First professional game on a military base! MLB and the MLB Players association built the baseball field @ Ft. Bragg for tonight's game: Atlanta Braves vs. Florida Marlins. As a Thank you to military personnel and their families. The stadium will be a permanent recreation facility for all base personnel. The players of both teams spent the day with the service members. What a wonderful tribute to the men and women of our arm forces! Thank you to all the men and women and their families for their service and sacrifice! Happy Independence Day to Everyone!
