hi everyone. i made a chicken feeder out of pvc pipe and fittings, that Mary Jane had in her last mag. issue. Though i did not decorate it up all nice like she did. Put it in for my little chicks, and is working real well. They were wasting so much feed and this is working great. I do go in and pull the feed out for them a bit. They are a bit small to reach in there. I also have a 4x4 put to it so they can reach it easier. my husband had left over pvc pipe and fittings, so no extra cost for me. thanks for the great idea.
Looks great! Wow your chicks have really gotten big already. Hope they fatten up nicely for you!

MIchele, you new feeder looks like a hit with the baby chicks! I am happy that you were able to find a great solution in MaryJane's recent magazine too. You chicks are so cute!!
