I am from mid Missouri and live close to town on 25 acres with my husband & children. I am SO glad to have found this site, I have only recently discovered MJF through the magazine stand at Barnes & Noble. I can't wait to read more. I really enjoy the do it yourself lifestyle and country living and can't believe how many more farm girls are out there. I'm looking forward to finding out much from all of you.  |

Welcome, Dana! I live in the 'burbs of St. Louis, but travel to Jeff City frequently. You'll enjoy this site - lots of varied interests and very friendly, very supportive farmgirls.

Hi Dana, you have found yourself surrounded with very wonderful ladies. I live in a samll town , Pontotoc, Mississippi. We have 40 acres with a host of kids and animals. Just jump in and make yourself comfortable.

We have three dogs, two cats, a house rabbit, a leopard gecko and next spring we hope to add a small flock of chickens. Seems whatever the children want to take care of we house...it's always fun.
