| About 8 hours driving or 45 minutes flying. My oldest daughter actually lives in NYC with her husband. We have only been there twice. We take a midnight bus on a Friday, get there 8am Saturday, meet up with them and get back on bus about 8 pm. They live in Brooklyn, she works in the city and he works in Long Island. |

Lisa, never heard of Pillow. I have a niece who lives in the city. I am about 2 hours away. We have more people from NYC living in our area than locals anymore. Cheaper for them to live here in the Poconos. So many commute to the city to work everyday.

I got Lisa's postcard today, it's so pretty! We'll be spending our vacation in a couple of weeks with my brother's family in West Chester County New York, so the card was extra interesting for me.

Thank you Judith, received your pretty "Old Grand Island Lighthouse" (Michigan) postcard.
Trees were gorgeous shades of orange, yellow and gold. I can see why you like to vacation

Thanks to Lisa for the Post Card Map of New York State. I was surprised to see Potsdam on it. That is where I was born.
Thanks to Diana of the GORGEOUS sunset over the mountains in Idaho.
And Thanks to Karla for the Dolphins. It is cooling to look at, especially, with it very hot and humid here right now.

Received my Florida postcard from Karla today, thank you - just in time and anticipation for our coastal trip tomorrow morning to the Oregon coast, not near as warm and tropical, but gorgeous! Also, received a post card from Diana in Idaho of a beautiful sunset, one of my favorite moments I life!! Thank you both!! And CJ, thank you for hosting! ~ April

Received post cards from Karla and Diana. My sister lives in Gulfport, Fl, is that near you, Karla? I love the beach! I could easily move near the ocean. Diana, We have beautiful sunsets like that also. How lucky we are to have such a beautiful country.

I have received postcards this week from Judith L., Diana P., and Karla. Just love them all, Karla I love Sea Turtles!
