Once again, I came across this idea and thought I'd try it this year. Just one picture a day. Of anything. Could it be easier to record your life? You don't have to post them to a blog or anywhere else... just take one and keep it in a folder somewhere. Then you have an entire year of your life to look back on.
Here's a site to check out: http://www.photojojo.com/content/tutorials/project-365-take-a-photo-a-day
Happy picture-taking!

This is such a fab idea! I don't know if I could keep it up every day . . . but I'll begin, with the thought that if/when I skip a day, I'll just pick it back up the next day. I've been wanting to take more photos, especially after viewing others' blogs, etc., and wanting my own record of my life/family/projects etc.
Thanks for sharing this!!! |

Yippee! I'm glas y'all are finding this as neat as I do!
I've actually done my two days worth of pictures. Only 363 more to go. I'm trying NOT to take all the pictures of my girls though. Too easy.

I love this idea. I'll start this today. I'll have to set the date on my camera so I can remember which day was which. Great way to record our journey in life. |

This is so exciting! I love this idea. I just love reading everyone's blogs. Now I can get a glimpse into my friend's every day lives. Guess I'll join the band wagon too but will use my blog that I haven't updated in a while. Off to take 4 pictures to get caught up!

Husband Dear took my camera on his business trip to Tennessee! Drat! I guess two days of my pictures will be of his store there.
Another good way to remember about the picture you took is to jot a note in your daytimer or calendar or whatever.
Hope y'all are having fun taking pictures!

Bonnie, I haven't posted any of mine yet and can't now that Husband has the camera for two days. But I'm still trying to decide whether or not to have a separate picture blog or put them on my regular one.

Oh, how I wish I were more computer literate. And, camera literate, for that matter. I'd love to do this. Bonnie and Sue, You guys are doing a super job! There's a blog I enjoy seeing...Foodie Farmgirl. Have you discovered that one? She has pictures each day of her farm. It's such fuel for dreaming. Thanks everyone for sharing your lives here. More, please!

I started this in December, we made an Advent project out of it for part of our Sunday school class devotion. We would bring in our weeks worth and write our own psalms... we assembled an album of anticipation.
...looking back on my choices for the month, i feel like a stalker You can see, I put mine in the photobucket site. http://s145.photobucket.com/albums/r206/obeehave/?start=all
i forgot my cable to upload, will have to wait until i get home on the 11th for this week.

Bonnie, I just bought a new computer yesterday and am not hooked up to the internet yet. I'll have to see what I end up doing with my pics. I've been taking the weirdest pictures. I figure this is like a journal, so the other day when I went to Walmart, I went home and laid out all the stuff I bought on my kitchen table and took a picture of that. I'll remember what I did on that day. The next day, Jim and I bought a carton of Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream, something we love, but rarely do. So....yes, I have a picture of the carton because it will bring back the memories of that day and how we just devoured that ice cream and loved every second of it. This is fun!! I promise to take some normal, pretty ones too!! |

All day long I think what kind of picture should I take--this is taking over my life---and is it good enough. So I have about 3 zillion pictures that I keep looking at and they say "nah". I wanted to do a nature type thing but all of a sudden everything looks so mundane---so it goes. I keep looking for the exceptional picture when everything in nature is exceptional. MB
