I just bought a pair of vintage corduroy pants for my husband. They had a three-inch hem that I let out. However, it left an aggravating white line where they were folded. I have tried to apply vinegar to the inside and iron them, but the line will not budge. Does anyone have another method that might work? Thanks!

It will be hard to get rid of that line on corduroy, but you might be able to make it fade by washing them and then using a toothbrush on the line to sort of "fluff it up." If they can be dried in the dryer, that will help too. Good luck with it!

Any fabric with a nap is going to be tough. If these wer kids pants I would have said sew some rick rack or trim over it and carry on.
I think this is not going to come out, sorry.

I agree, it's almost impossible to remove this line. You might try a trick of the eye by using a (brown or black or whatever closely matches) permanent marker along the line. It will fade with washing, but you just touch it up again. Hopefully there won't be any eagle eyes checking out your hubby's ankles!
