Anyone interested in a shelf full of cake decorating supplies? I have a lot and will likely never use them again. If anyone's interested, I'll get it all out and take photos and write down what all is there. Kids are grown, grandson is 16, no reason to keep it any longer.
Will trade for something I'd like to have, whatever that might be :)
I collect way too much. Old sewing notions, quilt blocks, ink wells, old eyeglasses (50's or earlier).
Make me an offer and it's all yours and I'll have an empty shelf in my kitchen!

My daughter might be interested..........she's learning. Not sure what to offer you in return at this moment.......hmmm....

Although I am planning to go through things this week! I do have some quilt blocks I haven't done anything with, could make you a tote bag, or something like that; ummm ... I have a couple of old patterns, curtains, etc.

(oh by the way I had to throw out my starter, sat to long without stirring etc while we were out of town and it had become a "lovely" slurry mess!)

Thanks,

Holly

For anyone who thinks their sourdough starter has ''gone bad'', please contact me or anyone else with knowledge of starter before tossing it....it's very forgiving of neglect and what looks like dirty dishwater on the surface is the hooch, to be stirred back in. Mine has sat in the fridge for several years without stirring or feeding and comes right back when I'm ready for it.

I'll try to get the shelf emptied today, have felt like something the dog dug up and dragged into the house recently. The empty space will be magically filled in a heartbeat. Need to do the same with Tupperware, have some pieces I never use and they're just taking up space. 5 ft wide cupboard, three deep shelves full. And I've never been to a Tupperware party :) I can't part with my mothers original 50's stuff, but have much that I don't need to keep. And cast iron skillets. I don't need 4 of each size! A set of wonderful old magnalite cast aluminum pots and pans that are sitting on the counter. The list goes on and on.

Tupperware! Would you happen to have the tall, square container used to store four sleeves of Saltine crackers? I have been hunting for one of those since the new Tupperware design is not the same as the old white, squared off shape. I would also be interested in a steamer (3 piece) set if you have one of those, too. Oh, probably anything you have.. at least it's lightweight and therefore inexpensive to ship!

Or, maybe you should have a Tupperware party. In person, or on the forum.

Or, is that what you just did? LOL

Holly, Faith, Sunshine,Tina and Jo....
Can you please email me off list, with your mailing info, so I can send all of you the list of what I've unearthed so far. I'll let you each tell me what you'd like to have in particular (and/or what you don't want) and I'll try to send each of you as much as I can. I haven't gone through the Wilton colors yet to see what I don't want and what needs to go in the trash. Some is too old to be used in my opinion. I won't send anything that I wouldn't use. Thanks,
Ronna

most food coloring made by wilton can be saved by adding glycerine to them and letting them sit 2 days after stiring it in. then stir again and let sit again two days. Then they work fine.

Thanks for that info Sunshine, I didn't know. Not sure if I have glycerine, but it's easily found and I can rescue any that appear to be too dry. I don't use it very often, but want to keep at least a few colors in case I want to color something.

Ronna,
If you have gotten to the Tupperware yet, I'm looking for a couple of pieces. One is a blue box, I'm not sure what it is called, but it has dividers in it for keeping craft or sewing supplies (at least thats what I would use it for. They also made a larger orange one, quite simliar with the dividers. I think they both have lift-out divided trays as well. Thanks!

Ronna, I received my package today! I was so excited when I came home and saw it.
Thank you so much for the cake decorating things and for the starter.
I'm using the starter this week for bread and as soon as I have enough I'm making pancakes.
You rock!
Thanks,
Faith

thanks for letting me know the boxes have arrived at their destinations...have to check my receipt and make sure none are still out there waiting to be delivered. Hope you all enjoy your goodies and wish I'd had more to put in everyones box...but there's always next time.
