This was the view from my front door at 8am this morning.

Now at at 12:30 the snow is twice as high, it is snowing worse and the wind is howling like the dickins'!

We are predicted to get 2 feet today, and 2 more feet tomorrow! Moisture that we so need.

But, give me a beach right now and I would love it!

Have a Beautiful weekend Farmgirls wherever you are.

Hugs,
Deb

I heard about your snow on the news! Yikes! That was us last year. I am so glad this year is different. It is mild and sunny today. But we are going to pay for it with all the ticks this year!

That's alot of snow there! Hope you are making something yummy and warm for dinner. Such crazy weather everywhere it seems.

Farmgirl Hugs,
Nicole
PS Still a beautiful sight. Like the photo.

I know it looks peaceful but I'm SOOOOO GLAD it's not in my corner of the state. Most especially the wind!
I'm sure my sister and all of her family in Denver are probably getting it too!

I would take an updated photo for you gals, but it is not fit for man nor beast out there believe me.
A couple of hours ago my son Kent who is almost 6 foot went outside for gosh knows what, the snow was up to his knees and drifts his waist, so that tells you something!
But, we are nice and warm with our wood stove, I am working in my studio and Nicole we will have spaghetti and meatballs for dinner, yum!
Wish y'all were here, lol!

Debbie...oh my goodness...I am glad we don't have weather like that! And I'm glad you are all cozy and warm. It doesn't look like it would be very pleasant weather to have to go out in. I would be in front of a fire with a good book....wrapped up in a blanket with my PJ's on all day and something warm to drink.
Are you sure you don't need that Scotty Blanket back??? LOL. Sorry, but my husband is NOT giving it back! It is his new Best Friend! LOL He is like a little kid carrying around his blankie! And heaven forbid if I even look like I might want to try it too.

Hugs,
Peggy

It finally stopped late morning and we had a partly sunny blue sky day. We got over 23" with snow drifts well past my son's waist.
Pikes Peak Mountain got 59", can you believe that?
It is in the lower 20s this morning and we only have a 20% change of snow today. Then that should be it for awhile.

But, you are right Grace it was postcard Beautiful, reminded me of some of Bavaria Germany snows some years we lived there. Truly just breathtakingly beautiful.

It a new day and now we wait for the thaw!

Have a fabulous week everyone.

That's enough I would think! Glad it stopped and I'm hoping that the wind stopped.
We didn't get that on this side of the state and I'm VERY, VERY, VERY GRATEFUL!
We did get rain and some snow flurries!

My goodness Debbie, so sorry winter won't let you be! Here I've been complaining it is too hot in the Chicago area and there you are buried under a mound of snow! Hang in there spring has to show up sometime soon for you.

Deb, I know what it's like having lots of snow when it should be spring, we get that a lot in Minnesota, but think of it as extra time to do inside projects. It's not fun but spring will come.

Well, I woke up to a few more inches yesterday, then we had rain, snow, sleet and hail off and on all day.
Woke up to a dusting this morning, okay, no more I am done!
We do seriously need the moisture as we are always so dry, I am thankful.
Today we are suppose to warm up a bit have sun and blue skies for the next few days so that will nice. In fact at 7:45 the sun is coming up over the mountain as I write this. What a beautiful sight!
Wherever you are I hope the flowers are blooming and you are enjoying spring.
If you live in Texas and the areas where it is raining and flooding I hope it stops for you soon.
Enjoy your day everyone.

Hugs,
Deb
