Such creative talented women here! These cards are beautiful! I have them all displayed on my hutch and bookshelves in the dining room where everyone can enjoy them. Such wonderful ideas! Amy~ I found the chicken wire embossing plate at Hobby Lobby. I couldn't wait to use it when I found out we were doing Down on the Farm theme.
I have to say that everyone has done a beautiful job of honoring our sweet Portia's memory.

Okay, camping trip followed 2 weeks later by the annual quilt retreat. Except for the Spring storms, severe weather and tornado threats, April-May are 2 of my favorite months!!
Wonderful card Avalanche !! Thank you all. I think I have all the cards, and the ones still sitting on my end table are: Denise-- I soo love chickens! Amy- very creative and I enjoyed the 1847 folk song excerpt Patsy-- the picture of the back porch of your family's home was precious! Thank you for sharing with us Jody- where do you get these wonderful images. Love the animals fun animals! Kate- I always look forward to your drawings. I'm so glad you do this for us! Marlene- the addition of the potato recipe was a great touch. It looks sinfully delicious. About- the cow is awesome. And eating grass like a good cow should. So fun! Linda- I always enjoy the simple beauty of your cards. Thank you. Sarah- the die cut barm and little chickens blew me away! What a lovely peaceful scene. Marilyn - awesome picture of your world. So peaceful.... LInda - the nostalgic girl feeding chicken picture is delightful. Very nice. Oh, and a package of Forget-me-not seeds have escaped from an envelope?? - thank you.
i know I probably missed a few cards, but I was just mentioning the ones still by my chair. The rest are in my craft area, which is in chaos at the moment. I feel another attempt at organization coming on.
Beautiful thoughtful tribute to Portia, and her generous heart. Thank you. Mary
