Melody...I hope when you are ready you will get another Dog. I can't imagine life with out
one. When our hearts are hurting though...we start to put up a safe-wall and say, "No, I
can't deal with losing another Pet! I don't want to deal with it anymore." But seriously
what is that Old Saying..."It is Better to have Loved and Lost than to Never have Loved at All!"
Every Pet needs us as much as we need them. Will be looking forward to the Day we see another
Special Furbaby in your life, heart, and home. <3

Hugs and Sympathy,
Peggy

Oh Melody! My heart aches with yours. After my first dog died of cancer, I was not certain I would get another. However, after three months of mourning, I was given a six month old Staffordshire terrier. He was just what I needed. He helped me change the gloomy memories of my old dog into good ones. I have never forgotten either of them. By getting another dog, I continued my commitment to my favorite animal.

Though you only knew her for a short time, she will always be in your heart. And she knows that she was loved.

I've been out for a while and just saw this, or I would have responded earlier.
