Yes, I'm a farmgirl! Grew up on one, still live on acreage that was part of our family farm. My daughter grew up here, but now lives in Glendale, Arizona. She lives in an area where many of the homeowners have lots where animals are allowed. When I visit my daughter I go on walks and sometimes she goes with me. Along one street is a really nice "bridle path" which is beautifully landscaped and with wide path that is sandy, great for horses and people who don't want to pound the concrete. I like to go down the alleys too because this is where you can greet the horses and all other critters. So we've found more than one place that have horses, chickens, and, of course dogs. But there is also one with a cow and a pig, one with emus and other foul, a couple with goats and cats here and there.
So, this farmgirl has to always go check on the farm critters that live in my daughter's city neighborhood. CJ

That is neat that they can have animals in the city. I know some people who have llamas and alpacas in the suburbs. Apparently llamas aren't classifies as livestock in most areas. We can have chickens in town here. If I had the money to build a tall fence, I might get a mini llama and an alpaca. But then I would have to build another fence around my garden.... Cindy
