Shannon, we have only lived on base three times (plus once as a kid). While it hasn't all been wonderful I haven't had any issues that haven't also been issues in other rentals/apartments and even the HOA we owned a house in. Yes we have had loud neighbors but they weren't loud every night. Right now my biggest issues is the neighbor smokes on her porch, which is about 6 feet from my window so I breathe her smoke far more often than I'd like. It can be challenging but we haven't had any HUGE issues. As far as the grass or whatever they have to cite you multiple times before it can result in negative action and you won't be there long enough for that to happen. I wouldn't worry about it for the short time you will be there :).
Carol and I sent off another issue of MJF yesterday so now we can tackle our to-do list. Should we name the thread simply Military Farmgirls?
