Well I was supposed to post this and I forgot.
So here it is posted and we are traveling along again with Traveling craft box #5.
So far this one is moving along quite fast with no problems other than possible weather issues.
Thanks everyone for making this swap work so well.

Hi, Denise and others! I picked up the box today at PO. Probably won't open until tonight. DH has been to ER 20 miles away 3 times this week and is the hospital now. I just came home to pick up mail, shower and change. Then back to hosp. Just wanted you all to know I have the box.

Well I hope he gets out of the hospital fast, not good place to be.
You take care of yourself as well. keep rested if you can.

Thank you all for your patience! Traveling box is repackaged and ready to go into this afternoon's mail! I found a couple of nice items and replaced a few! Yes, It is really on the way, Amy!
Thank you all, for caring about DH. He got out of the hospital. We have chased this illness since last July. They finally decided he passed gall stones. We go to dr. tomorrow to schedule gall bladder surgery. Thank heaven it is something he will recover from. He managed to get a touch of hepatitis and acute pancreatitis though. He's ok now, but afraid to eat anything. Heck of a way to lose weight.

Oh Judith,
Thank goodness your hubby will be feeling better as soon as he has his gall bladder out. I can't imagine the pain he was in with those gall stones.
Did the pancreatitis and hepatitis come about because of the gall bladder attack?
Well take care of yourself as well and don't stress.

Linda, the doctors (and he has seen many) have tried to track the source of his pain since last July). This last hospital visit he had a total of 6 doctors. At first, all they could come up with was the pancreatitis and then hepatitis. He has not had a drink in 40 yrs. He does not smoke or eat fried foods. Due to a history of kidney stones (calcium) we do not eat any fried foods, dark green vegetables or many dairy products. Basically, we have a bland "Yuk" diet. I used to love to cook. So, the source was difficult to track. Blood tests continued to show his enzymes were at a normal level or fluctuating slightly. Finally, the last dr. decided that their was sludge in his gall bladder, and that he had most likely passed one or more gall stones. The hepatitis and pancreatitis are a result of that. Thank heaven. The word hepatitis scared me, until the dr. explained the very low levels, and that they were due to the gall stones and sludge.

Just a quick note to say the box has arrived! I'm pretty sure I won't get to look through it until next week with it being Easter and all. But I'm excited! Judith, I'm keeping your hubby and you in prayer and glad to hear you're starting to get some answers. Have a glorious Easter, every one!

Amy, I'm so glad the box arrived! ...and thank you for the prayers. We can always use those. Surgery is scheduled for 4/6. (So he only will be nervous about it for a couple of weeks.)

I went through the box. I took most of the yarn, some paper, some beads and buttons, some stickers and some felt. I have put one largeish thing in the box which I no longer need. I hope someone can use it. I will be mailing it out in about an hour or so.
