Hi, Sara! Wanted to send a quick note to say I picked up your box at PO today. Won't be able to open it up until tonight though. DH has been in hospital ER 3 times this week and is still there. Just came home for mail, shower and clean clothes. I should be able to bring him home tonight.

Judith, I hope you are able to bring him home tonight and you and he rest comfortably. A prayer for his complete recovery.

Thank you, ladies, for the good wishes for my DH. Sounds like they figured out the problem. The are keeping him another night. So, maybe he can come home tomorrow. He is getting a little cranky and tired of me hovering . So, I came home and will go back early tomorrow.
I opened your package, Sara! I love the matchbox!!!! I collect boxes of all types and just love this tiny one!Such a sweet way to decorate it! I will post a pic of it tomorrow when we are settled in around here. Also, love that special towel...I will probably use it as a dresser scarf though. Also, that Paris, TX postcard from you is sure a keeper. Thank you so much! Afraid (as you know) my tasks were reordered this week. So, your matchbox will go into the mail Saturday.

Judith, you and DH are in my prayers.
So happy you like the little box. I loved the colors. The buttons came off a blouse I had over 20 years ago. There were purple, yellow, green, and red ones. Through the years I have found ways to use them.

Thank you, FarmGirl Sisters, for the good wishes for husband and I.
Doctors had us worried as the kept talking about his pancreas and liver. They finally settled on acute pancreatitis. He was passing gall stones. They pain is subsided for now. Fever is down. He came home Friday afternoon. He will have his gall bladder out in a couple of weeks. He said he now feels like 99.9% which is pretty good considering he usually feels about 70%. (He's such a card).
Here is a pic of the matchbox Sara sent! I just love it!  I'll post a pic of mine after Sara receives it.

Judith, your wonderful box of goodies arrived today. Oh my, I love it all from the beautiful handmade card, the cross stitch miniature kit, hankie (I have a small collection of hankies), and the little matchbox filled with the cutest mini-clothes pins, shoe charm that matches the shoe paper used to decorate the match box and last but not least the mini-colored stones to put on future projects.
I have plans for the mini-clothes pins for a not known as yet Jubilee project. Aprons and clothes pins just go together.

I'm so glad you liked it, Sara! It was fun to play with! Hope you don't mind if I post a pic. (Maybe others will do that too) I ended up changing the drawer handle to green hemp and added the flip flop charm to the handle..jpg?v 39165763)
