I don't remember Grandma ever wearing them on a regular basis. Just cute stuff she had around. I do have pictures with my Great Grandma in full length working aprons, I don't think any of those are still around. I am going to try to make some after Christmas.

Love the bells. The nice thing about terry cloth is it is also a towel...very useful!

That's cute! I have one from my grandma, and am so thankful I was able to get that one! I found some vintage aprons at the local Hospice thrift store the day before Thanksgiving....and only paid $1.50 each for them!

I'll be making some soon too...probably during Christmas break.

Bonnie,
I just wrote you a nice note on your blog, but it wouldn't let me publish. Anyway, love your blog, great quilts and to make that rug lay flat? put a wet bath towel over it and put somthing heavy on top. Thats what I did to mine and it worked.

Boy, Nancy, I am sad that you can't post on my blog anymore, I love your notes and encouragement! Thank you for the advice about the rug.
And Berries thank you for visiting also! I love to quilt, but I need quick little projects like those pillowcases and bags for my instant gratification!
I still haven't happened upon a good thrift store around here, Katee. I kind of pick up stuff at antique shops that are only a couple of dollars. When I head off to the "Big City" to finish my Christmas shopping, I am going to find the Salvation Army Store and see what they have!
