Just wondering if there are any craft fair's or Boutique shows in the next few weeks before Christmas here around TX? I missed 2 both weekends last and this because of all we have been doing. Thanks. hugs

Check out craftlisters at http://www.craftlister.com/

They have a calendar of events and you can search by location.

angi, i know the dallas flea market will be held this coming weekend, cause i will be there with my crafts, and some collectibles.
i will be sharing a booth with my friend, reid who makes hats for adults and jackets and other things. most of her items are made from vintage and reworked fabrics.
my son-in-law (ex) will also have a booth next to ours with some furniture and collectibles more in the 50's vein.
if you need more info on the dallas flea market let me know and i will try and post a sight on them or email you the info. i will try to post a few pics here or on my blog of my friends crafts, i think they are interesting and very clever and extremely well made. anyway, it should be fun, if you do show up please let me know you are a farmgirl i will give you 10% off.

angi,
i finally got the pics posted on my blog of some of my friends items.
i also finally realized that you are really closer to austin than dallas. wish i knew about some craft events in austin, i'd have to rush up there. do you ever go to roundtop or warrenton? i have only been once but it was overwhelming and a lot of fun at the same time.
i think we will be going in april and i will get to participate in a booth for the first time.
selling my crafts has been a pretty new adventure and it has been a lot of fun. i like meeting other crafters and trading and also having people appreciate what you make.
the farmgirls here have been very encouraging and inspiriational at the same time.
hope if you do decide to come to dallas to the flea market you will let me know so i can meet you. it would be great to meet another farmgirl.

love

Are you wanting to shop or sell? I'm in Austin and there are lots around here. I like to go to Wimberely for their monthly flee market. I can find great stuff for the garden and there is also a lady there who sells vintage fabrics and linens by the pound. But they also have lots of craft and one of a kind items. Austin has their "city wide garage". It looks great but I here that it is starting to get over priced. Those are the two best that I can think of but there is always something every weekend. Oh, they have the SAMI show out at Dell Diamond in Round Rock. That is another great one...
