hi there,
i am an urban farmgirl living in Ottawa, Ontario Cananda. I grew up in the country and married an 3rd generation urban farmer so we live in the city. I have two kids, a son 3 years old and a daughter 4 months. I am an excellent knitter, sewer and baker. I won second place in my local harvest festivals apple pie contest this year! I also picked a tonne of concord grapes this summer and canned the tastiest batch of grape jelly. I am feeling really motivated to start growing some food and keeping some chickens this summer.

Well, Welcome to the group Anne! How fun to have another Canada gal!! You sure sound like you are one of us already. You will love chickens if you get some..and then you won't be able to imagine life without them again!! It will be so fun to have you here...just jump right in and make yourself at home!
