Every year since I started a farmgirl chapter, we get together for a Christmas party/potluck. We always do a "homemade, handmade gift swap". Oh my goodness the amazing things the girls make! It's so fun, we all get so excited to see who will top the gift each year! This year I am super-excited to make my gift...I hope the girls like it!
Some years have been homemade jewelry, knitted beauties, embroidered pillows, jingle bell wreaths, card bowls (inspired by MJF magazine), and quilted table runners.
Looking forward to this year! Homemade gifts are the BEST!

That sounds wonderful, Nicole! This weekend I'll be working on some mini-albums I will be gifting to family and friends, and I may start making cookies, too. I only wish there were more hours in the day so that I could do more of this throughout the year! :) Please keep us posted as to the kinds of things the farmgirls in your chapter will be making and exchanging! Nicole, this sounds like so much fun! The best gifts are the ones that are homemade and come from the heart. I would love to hear how the party goes and see some pictures of what you farmgirls make! Have fun!
