HI Clare..tried to email you this from two different places and just couldn't do it..so I will cut and paste the email and materials list here and a picture of the marshmellow gun. They are sure fun to make for Christmas gifts that are quick and cheap.Whatever you do don't let the kids (or adults) shoot them in the house though..I made that mistake..the shooter's hot breath melts the marshmellow just enough on the outside to make it a little sticky and it leaves a gross little splat where it hits. I thought I would never get all the goo out of my family room the first year we made these!! Now I chase them all out to the garage to have their shoot outs!

Hi Clare..
they were really easy. We used PVC pipe (the white kind..I think 1/2"
diameter) and mini marshmellows. It is sort of like a blow gun..shaped
like a pistol but with a place you sort of drop the marshmellow in at
the top..wish I could draw a picture of it. We did make some rifle type
ones for the "big boys" too. Let see...I will ask husband to explain it
better tomorrow..he would know the supply list too. he works at a
plumbing supply store and knows what the parts are called..elbows and
like
that. They were quick and easy and everyone liked them. We gave them a
ziploc sandwich bag full of "ammo" with each one.
He just walked in..I will take a picture of it for you..he said
there is one in the garage !
Here is the supply list:
for a pistol type....
1- 12" peice of 1/2" PVC,
1- 4" piece of 1/2 " PVC
3- 2" pieces 1/2" PVC
2- 1/2" 90 degree elbows slip by slip NOT THREADED
1- PVC- T 1/2 slip by slip by slip
1-1/2 PVC cap (not threaded)
don't glue parts together..it just holds by slipping.
He said kraft mini marshmellows work best. You put the mini
marshmellow in the the part that is open and facing toward the person
holding
it and then blow. Does that make sense??
I am glad he walked in when he did!! I will attach the picture. Feel
free to ask questions if you have any.
Love, Jenny

THANK YOU Auny Jenny. I know my husband can put these together for me. He is a general contractor and so he knows the whole plumbing lingo and what it means.

These looks SO COOL!!! I can't wait to try them. I am feeling a little wicked about not mentioning going outside with them as Christmas Day will be at my SIL's house. But, I will just enjoy the idea of letting them do it in the house and really fill her in about them playing with them outside.

I can't wait to try them. I hope to get the supplies tomorrow.

Oh, I have to set up an email account on yahoo. I was getting so much junk mail so I closed off my email contact info from MJF and we changed our email address. I have no idea if it was a result of the board OR if my husand signed up for something online. It happened when he got back from a hunting trip so I tend to think it was him as we also got all this travel info in the mail.
