Since I've joined the sisterhood and have been reading various posts I've been inspired! Made my own laundry soap about a month ago. Then I found a recipe for toothpaste, love that, Thursday I started a batch of sour dough! Yesterday when I went to feed my mother, it was bubbling! I'm so excited can't wait to bake my first loaf!!

If I have the time today, I want to make a bowl cover out of terry cloth to keep my mother damp. Only here would that make sense! : )

I know what you mean Judy, I also am having a ball with this group of ladies. I am making kefir and Kombucha tea, which I can't wait to try. I have also signed up for some swaps... It is such a awesome group...

Awesome, Judy! You GO girl! I wouldn't be able to do most of the neat things I do if it weren't for MaryJane, MJF and our farmgirl sisters! Life is even better now than it ever was, isn't it? ;) Have fun! Keep us posted! Hugs - Nini

Made a bowl cover for my mother bowl. Turned out great, I used terry cloth so I can keep it damp. I've been making oatmeal in a jar to take to work for my breakfast. So today I took a container and put oatmeal, crasins, brown sugar and chopped walnuts in the mix. Now all I have to do is scoop some out, put it in the jar with enough water to cover it, put it in the fridge and by tomorrow, it's grab and go! I can heat it up at work. Yummy!

My mother seems a little soupy. Is that normal?
