Marilyn, wow! People are nasty sometimes aren't they? I couldn't imagine stealing from someone's mailbox. My husband sometimes gets the mail and I asked him. He hasn't gotten it since the 19th. He did go and check his truck to see if he did pick up mail and forgot to bring it in, no dice. I just spoke with the mail carrier and he said he can't remember that particular package but he'll check his vehicle to see if it fell out of his bag and got missed. So I just wait to hear from him.

My husband has forgotten to bring the mail in from his truck many times. You have a good mail carrier. Ours is an air head. She spreads everyone's mail all around the route. Yesterday I took two letters to the post office that were not ours.Several years ago she delivered a $50,000 dollar check, intended for my son's construction business to someone else. Thankfully they were honest and took it to the PO. He got a business box for a while because he was building for a couple of families who lived out of town.

Oh my goodness Marilyn! Thank goodness an honest neighbor received it. WHOA! If I have the regular mail carrier we're all good. Once in awhile we'll get someone else's mail and have to take it back in but I think that's when we have a substitute. Ron (husband) checked his truck out thoroughly, even looked around on the ground coming to the house from the drive and went out and checked around the mailbox. I think someone else got it and opened it, and the tags were neat so they kept them. (just a thought) If so, Merry Christmas to them for needing someone else's thoughtful gifts so much. or... it's just out there somewhere yet. It may have gone to the PO and into our carrier's car, then who knows?!
Did you happen to get pics of them? I forgot to take pics of the tags I made.

Good morning farmgirl sisters,

I had to leave town unexpectedly and won't be home until this weekend. My father was ill and has passed away. I should be home soon and will send out my Christmas tidbits and whoha's out as soon as possible.

For those with mail issues...after crooks unbolted and took off with the entire community mailbox, very sad, we got a P.O. Box at the post office. Inconvenient but we don't have as many issues.

We once lived on the highway and some kids roped our mail box and it was gone. We have had our boxes beaten over and over. My husband even chased them one evening, but the dust was so thick he lost them. There are six boxes on our big post. One neighbor put their box in a big pipe piece. Our son's was missed the last time and I got a new $10 box. There is no sense in buying an expensive one. We are a quarter mile from our boxes.

So sorry to hear of your father's passing Kerry. I'll be keeping you and your family in my
prayers.

Shannon, tomorrow my DH will be going to our po box and I will let you know when I
get your package. I'm sure it's been sitting in the box but we are only able to get over
there once a week. Thanks again for being my Christmas tag partner.

What I make with my
hands, I give with my heart ....
