How are you doing today Denise after your tumble, probably will be sore in a couple of days. I hate doing that, I tripped on a step in my house and went down. not fun.

Marilyn, no snow or ice, I can't blame it on that, I wish I could. Its supposed drizzle tonight and maybe snow tomorrow. 2 scraped knees, at least I didn't wreck my pants. I went to the store early this morning to get a couple of things I forgot, and made sure to buy salt for the driveway and side walk. My neighbor is older and she does not move well. We share a driveway so I try to salt her side too.
I get stiff if I sit too long, so trying to keep moving. I have some cleaning to do in the morning, but my daughter and son in law are coming over in the morning to help, which is nice of them.
Thank you all for the well wishes, very sweet and appreciated.
Hope everyone has a wonderful thanksgiving!!

I received my stuffed Christmas stocking from Marilyn on the day before Thanksgiving.
All wrapped up.
Unveiled.
All the pretty presents.
All unwrapped from l to r: 3 pairs of cute socks, crocheted ornament, the beautiful stocking made with quilted lame, tissue holder, yellow crinkly yarn, a set of 7 coloured marking pens (I will use these on the colouring book I bought myself.), 3 sets of note cards (I just love these.), tea (orange & spice and constant comment), jar of little candies, scented candle in a jar and a journal with a mechanical pencil.
And last but not least - - -

wrapping paper, yarn and ribbon.
I love the stocking and all the presents. Thank you so much Marilyn.

Oh Marie, what did you think of that poinsettia tissue paper? I found it at our Dollar Tree store. It is a very thin plastic. I commented on it, to the manager, she thought it was a food grade product originally. I liked that it do not tear like tissue does.

Christine... yours is all wrapped and ready to go to the Post... Monday hubby and I will drive down the mountain to town to run errands and your package will be with us... till we get to the Post and then it will be on it's way to NY... I will send you the tracking number so you can track it's journey.
I tried to 'stuff' all the little goodies into the stocking,, but ,, well not everything could fit... lol! oh well...
HoHoHo it is (almost) on it's way.

That little cartoon is cute. Today at Sunday dinner my daughter in law said KiKi the granddaughters cat was after their tree. And as I was standing at the kitchen sink, I saw a fat squirrel dig, dig, digging a big deep hole under a lawn chair. All this time I had been blaming Scruffy, my son's little white dog. Our homes are close and their dogs come to visit all the time.

Hi Mary,
I wanted to let you know that received my stocking yesterday and I just loved everything. The stocking and the snowman will be left out all year. I sent yout box out first thing this morning and it should get to you by Thurdsay. I hope you like your goodies.
