thrift store! I just had a terrible itch to go browsing yesterday after work/before kids get home and ended up at one of our 4 local antique stores. From what I understand from you seasoned shoppers it's just not the same. I mean I LOVE walking through these stores, but a set of 4 to 8 dinner napkins ran 12 to 20 dollars! I did make some purchases though. I found a beautiful bright round rag rug, a nativity that I call my "Father Tim Shepherd's Abiding" Nativity, and a few other goodies that had some farmgirl friends names written all over it. So it was a good stop, I just know there is more and better out there! I am going to post pictures of my treasures on my blog as soon as I find batteries for my camera!!! ~Blessings Bonnie

Bonnie, Aren't there any AMVETTS OR SALVATION ARMY, OR GOODWILL, OR CHURCH RUN ONES around you some place? What kind of town are you living in anyway? If you can't find a thrift store for the non garage sale months you are going to have to move. NANCY JO
It's about 15 -20 + miles either way to the Salvation army/good will! I hate moving so that's out of the question. A very small town to answer your question! I will have to keep my eye open for the little consignment shops that pop up around these small towns.
