Hey everyone!!! Ok so I almost ran out of dish soap. And I remember I had made laundry soap in the past. I took a piece of the bar soap and dissolved it in hot water and made a very concentrated amount. The bar soap is the Neufetal well I cannot spell it but it gets stains out of clothes. It is usually by the borax in the laundry isle. anyway I added the mixture to the little bit of dish soap I had left and now I dont run out. This is not a high suds mixture but it does get my dishes squeaky clean!!! Thought I would share.
I've considered trying a DIY recipe for dish soap, but I've never gone there because I have such trouble with my hands drying out as it is. I've found that the brand Dawn Hand Renewal is the kindest to my skin and doesn't leave my crying from cracked and bleeding hands. I wash dishes daily and seem to have more trouble in winter. If I switch brands I really notice a difference.
I would love to find a DIY recipe that would work well and not dry me out!
