Just a reminder that every now and then, a swap can go a tad south for whatever reason. Life has a way of getting in the way sometimes, best intentions aside. Our swaps are a way to express our joy of crafting and our love of surprises. Swaps are not the place to point out what does and doesn’t disappoint us. Think of it as a way to possibly soften the daily task of facing yet another day in life’s journey. Sometimes you never know what good you may do in fulfilling your end of a swap, even though you may not get something in return.
To keep things easy and fun, a swap host will assign partners and give them the go-ahead to contact their partners via e-mail. If that doesn’t work, Mother Hen would like to remind everyone that it’s not appropriate in a public forum such as this to investigate further or disclose private information or e-mails that were meant only for the recipient. In other words, when someone fails in their end of a bargain on a swap, leave it be, move on. In our experience, it has always fixed itself over time all on its very own. If there’s a problem that isn’t fixing itself, please contact us at forumdecorum@maryjanesfarm.org and let us take care of it.
