Hello fellow farmgirls! I'm Kiki from central Arkansas! I'm new around here, but I thought I might be able to reach out for some help/advise. I recently purchased a 1968 airstream ambassador with the intent of fixing it up for glamping. I dont have a large budget or a lot of help. I have never done anything like this before, and I am at the point where I need to have the floor replaced. I could really use some help or tips on what to do. I have read several blogs and threads on airstream forum that were helpful, but i am hesitant to take the leap and do it myself with no experience since its such an important step for safety/stability reasons. Any suggestions out there?
Thanks for listening!
Kiki

Welcome Kiki,,, as for your Airstream,,, check out the 'Outdoors" thread here on MJF... also if you are on facebook, type in Airstream in the search,,, there are all sorts of vtg. trailer groups,, many can help you with ideas and suggestions... Good luck with your trailer... (hubby and I have a '65 Silver Streak)...

Hi Kiki! Welcome to the farm! I have no suggestions for you, sadly, but wanted to welcome you all the same :) Best of luck in your remodeling! You can do it!

Welcome Kimi! I'm afraid I'm still a wannabe glamper, but it's always exciting to hear when someone is fixing up her glamping home away from home! Look forward to hearing about your adventure!

Welcome Kiki! I, too, am a glamper . . with my daughter, Robin! We have done lots of tent glamping and this summer were able to, for the first time, take out our little 71 Sprite trailer! The OUTPOST section has lots of threads . . . "katmom" is there and my daughter and I have threads for our tent glamping adventures and for our summer out in the "Reiver's Rest" You'll love it here on the Connection! CJ
