I have an extra scoby if anyone is interested in making kombucha. It's approx 6 inches and is ready to brew a gallon of tea. .jpg?v 48830638)

No I send them out very often. I mail only Monday and Tuesday in a priority box. But they come right out of my brewings into a ziplock bag with extra tea to keep it moist and for you to start your brew with. I have always had good feedback mailing them this way.

kombucha is fermented sweet green or black tea. It's very refreshing and it too as well as the keifer has so many Heath benefits.

No worries on the time it took. You were busy having a precious baby. Life gets hectic here too, really just about every time I turn the corner.

Yes, use it to make fermented healthy tea. I have more if ever you want to give it a try. And if ever too many mushrooms/scobies they can be fed to chickens. Gives them a Heath boost as well.
