Hi Girls!

I was away on a vacation for a week. I wasn't sure I would go, but my dear friend Susan "kidnapped" me and my daughter for a week of relaxing with her and her kids at their cabin in Maine. It's on an island on a lake, and we had no wi-fi or good cell service, which was divine! To unplug was heavenly, and to see three teenagers and a little one all busy sun up to sun down with no tv or devices? Awesome!

Anyway, missed you all!

Farmgirl Hugs,
Nicole

Thanks, MaryJane! I've never been to Maine before so it was a real treat. Now that I am home, I feel so refreshed and renewed too. You're so right - we all need to unplug every now and then.

Farmgirl Hugs,
Nicole

YAY for you! It IS so refreshing and rejuvenating to take those unplugged breaks. Robin and I certainly enjoyed our glamping adventures this past summer . . . definitely unplugged!

Hi CJ!

I really enjoyed the drive home with just my daughter, too. We are together a lot (I'm told by other friends with girls my age that Audrey and I are together way more than they are with their daughters), but a long car ride just the two of us was so special. We really enjoyed talking, singing to the radio, and spotting different things on our drive.

I read somewhere recently that if you have trouble sleeping, "unplug" for a few days and it will help. Must be true...during my vacation and since then I have slept like a rock!

Farmgirl Hugs,
Nicole

Maine is the perfect place to "unplug"! I love that state in all it's natural beauty. So happy that you had the rest and rejuvenation you needed!

Sounds heavenly, so happy you got away! Maine is one of the prettiest places I've ever seen, what a wonderful place for R&R unplugged!

Happy Day!
