HI Girls,
Just posted pictures of the really cute apron from our Texas Fran, and pictures of a bunch of stuff I got in the mail today from E-BAY. Boy was that a big box of stuff, I think I will be doing some sorting tomorrow.

You have quite the bunch of treasures there! How fun!
I LOVE that apron! Is that a crocheted pocket? How cute! I just can't get over how talented all you women are!
...she is far more precious than jewels and her value is far above rubies or pearls.

i am enjoying all the comments from nancy jo's site about the apron. and just in the nick of time. i have the flu, full blown and i feel icky .yes,this is texas fran feeling sorry for her little sick self. but i have only been sick about 6 days and i do believe i am feeling on the mend.
anyway i did want to comment to all the apron admirers, that the crocheted pocket is recycled from a 4 panelled pillow and sewn by hand on the pocket fabric. so if you see a wonderful piece of vintage crochet you can add it to an apron you are making and you can have a crocheted pocket even if you cant crochet, like sunshine.
i dont crochet, but i certainly admire the work of my galpal farmgirls like sunshine.

I hope you are feeling better real soon! It stinks to have the flu and doubly so over the holidays!
Thanks for the tip about the crocheted piece...I would never have thought of that, but it's a great idea.

Frannie, you are making me blush! Thank you for the sweet comment and the email. Im glad you enjoyed it. It is my little way of keeping a journal and posting family history along the way.
And I hope you know I am totally stealing the crochet on the pocket idea for one of my next projects.
