Hi Everyone
I made refrigerator veggies today. I watched a FB video and it looked real easy.
I made spicy carrots, regular carrots and two jars of pickled red onions. I also made dill pickles and Dilly beans.

I have not done this afore. I hope they come out ok.

They look really yummy! How long do they sit in the fridge?

Per the video about 3 to 4 days. The red onions can be eaten after a few hours. I planned to wait the three days.

I'm curious how you like the red onions - those sound like they'd be great on burgers!

Hi April,
I read they can be refrigerated for up to 3 months. (even after opened)

Hi Heather,
I will have to let you know in 2 days but I agree. They should be good on a burger.

Those look lovely Nancy!
I've done the pickled onions and they are so versatile!
I think as long as they have a vinegar base they should last in the fridge for months.

I was just thinking I should put a card in the mail and see how she's doing. It has been quite a while. Hope everything is OK.

I sent an email and she responded that her season with MJF is over. She will be missed.

Oh how sad. Sara will be missed terribly. I know that I have learned so much from her over the years.

Tara, those look great! I think I am going to attempt to make some spaghetti sauce again this year, but with a different recipe.

I made 2 batches of strawberry jam - one is the way I usually do it and the other is with MaryJane's chillover powder. All jars have sealed :)
