I am asking all my farm girl friends to pray for rain...Our cattle are in dire need for water...the creeks are drying up and we have no way to transport water to them because of where they are located...If it doesn't rain and get the streams and creeks moving again we may have to relocate them which would not be an easy task...Please pray that God supplies us with the rain we need...

Hugs!

Judy

Will definitely be praying! We are feeling the effects of this dry season as well, though we thankfully do not have cattle to worry about! It amazes me how some areas are experiencing severe flooding while others of us are dealing with a drought!

Glad to here you've been getting rain! We, in southwest Colorado, certainly know that situation. We've had lots of rain in May and early June. Then it got too hot and started drying out. However, in the past few days, we are seeing the start of our monsoon rains.

After about 3 weeks of really hot, dry weather in June, we are now in the monsoon season and getting more rainshowers. Trouble is they come with lightning (which can start wildfires) and thunder, sometimes at night which isn't good for insomniacs!

We here in Texas had prayed for rain for several years. The lakes were drying up, water was rationed , for out door use in towns and cities. Then in late April it came, and came and came. Hail, wind, lightening strikes and rain, flooding rain. Six weeks later God chose to share with others. So sometimes when we all get His attention great things happen. My crepe Myrtles are just beautiful this year, but our gardens were lost, replanted and lost again.
