Alicia,
I'd send an email to the farm, perhaps to Brian and ask just to make sure. His email is: brianogle@maryjanesfarm.org

I was thinking the same. I may just use a hen I found already digitized, though.

Sorry we missed this. If you use Henrietta, let us know how it turns out. I'm sure she'd be honored:)

Alicia, What style skirt are you making? I just had a flashback to my "Poodle" skirt,
It was gray felt, full circle skirt with a Poodle applique.... think Laverne and Shirley.... :)

Please do post a photo when it finished, I would love to see it!

Its so nice to know we could use Henrietta Hen as long as we let MaryJane know! Thanks, MaryJane...and Alicia, for asking.

Oh Kathleen! That would be cute!!!

MaryJane, I would need a higher quality graphic. The one I tried to digitize was too small and I couldn't get it to work. I would be happy to work with it if one could be emailed to me!! :D

Wish I still had a figure for wearing such a skirt... I would definitely make one with the hen! Maybe I will put her onto an apron???? :) Thanks for the idea.

Alicia, send your email address to me at maryjane@maryjanesfarm.org with Henrietta in the subject line and we'll get one on its way to you later this morning. Yay! I'm glad you're still thinking about using her.

I think for now she is just brainstorming about the new line. There was quite a lengthy discussion about it on a page on Facebook. I'll see if I can find a link for you later.

To be honest, I can't find it. It was getting kinda crazy, though, so I am not surprised. :) MaryJane is always coming up with awesomeness, so if she does make a line I am sure it will be perfect! She was running the idea of Shabby Chic in Turquoise, Lime, Red, Yellow, if I remember correctly, fabrics without a novelty presence. Sounds Perfect to me!!!!

BTW, I have Henrietta ready to stitch! :D Trying in Black and Gray first. Then I may try in red. I really wish I could figure out how to separate the colors and use yellow, teal, and red. One step at a time!

Very cute! What embroidery format is Henrietta in? I have an embroidery machine and she would make a great enhancement to farmgirl swap gifts. I will email MaryJane.

What kind of embroidery machines do you all have? I have considered one for years, but never took the plunge.

I just have a low-end Brother that my husband got for me at WalMart. My friend has a Janome and it does a lot more. There are better Brother machines, too. One of these days I may upgrade, if I start using it more.
