Just wanted to say Hi, I am a farmgirl from Wisconsin. I was a kid when we started dairy farming, and have continued in one form or another since 1972. Now I have chickens, herefords, 2 sheep and a new Jersey cow named Summer. So I have lots of milk, eggs and meat. I also do all my own baking. So busy busy. I have 3 teenage boys, so we go through plenty. I hope to learn to spin wool next. I have to find a spinning wheel first. I really enjoy the MJF mag. and web site. My cousin first introduced me to it all. Thanks Dawn. Some days it all just seemed like alot of work. Now I know how special it all really is. Michele

Welcome Michele,

There are a lot of us here who love to spin. I have two sheep as well Columbia and Suffolk. One year my kids 4H lambs escaped and made it all the way back to the fair after it was over. It was quite funny.

Welcome Michele! We have sheep, Herefords, and chickens too. Would love to have the Jersey but don't own where we currently live so that might be pushing it. I want to learn to spin too. I have a spinning wheel but it needs repair. I have teenage girls. So glad you decided to join us, these gals are the greatest!!

Welcome Michele!
You are a busy lady! I have three boys too, ages 20, 16 and 13. They sure DO eat up everthing in the house-but I really don't mind! Learned to spin YEARS ago and would love to get back to it. My loom is gathering dust too. Maybe you will inspire me! Well I look forward to chatting and getting to know you better!
Blessings,
Rhonda
