So glad to have found organic feed for my hens. Tractor Supply carries it now and I did some research on it and the brand. It is a bit more expensive, almost twice as much but at least I will know what they are eating and what goes into the eggs we are eating. Anyone else use organic feeds?

Hello, I was just thinking of this subject, this morning. I have a tractor supply near me and I was going back to see if they have an organic feed for my girls. Do you remember the name of the feed?

Thank you

Anne

Thanks Denise! I'll look into it on my next stop! I had been thinking of ordering online but patronizing a local Tractor Supply sounds more appealing! Cheers!

I just saw that brand last week at our TSC. We buy our chicken feed by the ton from a local grain mill. Organic is certainly more expensive, but my birds are healthy and happy! :)

Since I am doing more cleaning eating myself and trying to do as much organic as I can I thought I want my girls to be eating organic so their eggs will be as healthy as I can make them for us to consume.

We store it in 55 gallon barrels we purchased off of craigslist. My husband got a great deal on them and we just had to rinse them out. Nice lids too! Keeps the mice out.

Yes, we have one of those and it is what we use. It works great. Maybe we can find some more through Craigslist here. Thanks!
